Slay With Mozambique Traditional Outfits

Slay With Mozambique Traditional Outfits

Hello Divas,

Have you been to Mozambique? That may not be the right question! The question should be have seen the beautiful capulana traditional fabric from Mozambique?  We have stunning fabrics from different parts of Africa and we can say we love the Mozambique’s capulana.  The capulana is a two metre long rectangular fabric printed with contrasting colours, geometric and African patterns. The Mozambicans make use of as their symbolic fabric.  The royal families, merchants, and chiefs use this fabric.

The locals appreciate the fabric because it signifies wealth and high status in the society. The fabric is luxurious and can be bought to express pleasure and fulfillment. While the fabric is used for religious and traditional events, you can make use of it for other functions. Imagine the scene you would cause if you make use of this fabric in Ghana, Nigeria or even New York.  We know Ankara is popular around the world because of its general acceptance for any type of outfit.

Capulana is used for leaf shawl, pants, dress, skirt, curtain, coat, diapers, blanket and headdress. The use of capulana is numerous when it comes to function. For that special event that you are lost on what to use to make your fashion statement, you can go for this fabric.  For those of us who are not living in Mozambique and its neighboring countries, we can stand out with capulana.

Even if you are not sure of what to do with this fabric, we believe some of the outfits here would inspire you to create amazing stuff.  As Africans, we may be divided by language, culture and food but fashion can still bring us together. Come over here and make your fashion statement bold and loud with capulana. You can never tell what you would achieve with this fabric.

We remain yours truly,

Rendy Trendy
