How To Make Your Fragrance Last Longer

How To Make Your Fragrance Last Longer

Hey Guys,

Many of us love splurging on perfumes but feel disappointed when the scent vanishes within a short time. We expect the scent to linger all day but some perfumes can disappoint us.  However, it is not always the perfume that is the problem but us. The way we wear perfumes can be a tricky business.  A slice of chocolate cake can take over from our scent if we don’t spray well. We have listed ways to make our fragrance last longer and keep us fresher.

Build  Your Fragrance Layers

You can try the body lotion and shower gel fragrance versions and find the scent that can linger longer.  Remember, you will make use of less of your perfume to make the bottle last longer.  The lotion and gel will have a subtle scent compared to the perfume.  You can take advantage of this by building up the layers of the scents and allow the particles soak into the skin.  The fragrance will linger even when the perfume has been exhausted.

Soak Everything Up

The right time to spray your perfume is when you have come out of the shower. What happens is that the water droplets will slowly lock in the particles of your scent and get it soaked into the skin.  However, if you are not in this state or in a hurry,  wear the scented lotion to the purse areas before you can spritz the perfume. This will stop the scented particles from vanishing.

Spray Strategically

The neck and wrists are the pulse points many people go for.  There is also the ankles, backs of the knees  and inside the elbows.  Interestingly, the midriff can be a perfect place to spritz your perfume. Another great place is the neck and stomach. The backs of the knees and ankles are some of the places that will keep your fragrance for a longer time.  On the wrists, do not press them together.

The Touch Up

You don’t need to move around with bottle of perfume. A spay on cotton buds can do the trick. Move around with the cotton buds and once in a while touch on the pulse points.

Secrets in Your Laundry

If your clothes can be washed with fragrance it will keep your clothes lovely for a long time. With your perfume, you are assured of a long scent.

We hope you had an amazing read.
