Gorgeous Yoruba Couples Inspired Traditional Wedding Outfits

Gorgeous Yoruba Couples Inspired Traditional Wedding Outfits

Hey Ladies & Gents,

Who doesn’t love the way traditional weddings are filled with playful banter, varieties of food, vibrant colours and more? We cannot deny the fact that the Yoruba traditional weddings are unique.  Few things have changed since civilization and technology embraced Africa especially on our attires.

The Yoruba people have popularized the way we party during wedding events, and given us colourful attires that we will always want to rock. Whether you are from the western part of Nigeria or not, some of these inspired traditional wedding outfits can be your choice.

The indigenous Yoruba marriage is celebrated in pomp and style with couples slaying with some amazing outfits.  Have you graced a Yoruba wedding? The event is more like a thoroughly rehearsed drama with two narrators that represents the both families.

The sitting MC ( Alaga Ijoko) is for the bride’s family while the standing MC  (Alaga Iduro) is for the family of the groom. The event may represent the joining together of two families, but it showcases fashion in its purest form.

Agbada or Dansiki is often the popular choice for the men while Aso Oke or Iro and Buba comes handy for the brides.  What do you think of these gorgeous Yoruba couples inspired traditional outfits?

Yours Fellow Couple,
